Moscow, Aug. 6 -- Russian President Vladimir Putin received US presidential special envoy Steve Witkoff in Moscow, amid his scheduled meeting in Russia today. The meeting is taking place in the Kremlin, the presidential press service said, as per state media TASS.
 
Witkoff arrived in Moscow early morning on Wednesday and was met at Vnukovo-2 Airport by the Russian President's special representative for investment and economic cooperation with foreign countries, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund Kirill Dmitriev. 
 
An hour later, they walked together in the capital's Zaryadye Park, located within walking distance of the Kremlin.
