Moscow, Jan. 20 -- The Kremlin has confirmed that Russian President Vladimir Putin's special envoy, Kirill Dmitriev, plans to hold discussions with representatives of the US delegation on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Tuesday that Dmitriev intends to meet with "some representatives of the American delegation" during the annual gathering, CNN reported.
According to Peskov, the talks will primarily focus on trade, economic and investment cooperation. He added that Dmitriev will also relay information "back and forth" concerning a possible peace settlement in Ukraine.
