Kozhikode, Feb. 11 -- A major scuffle led to chaotic scenes during the reception given to VD Satheesan-led UDF's Puthu Yuga Yatra (New Era Journey) at Kuttiyadi in Kerala's Kozhikode district on Wednesday.
There was a lot of pushing and shoving on the stage, after the commotion started when Vadakara MP Shafi Parambil expressed strong displeasure at being invited to speak after the scheduled time.
He was slated to speak before Satheesan, but the DCC secretary, Pramod Kakkattil, invited Satheesan first to speak .
In the footage, Shafi can be seen arguing with the DCC secretary for not calling VD Satheesan before he spoke. It showed Shafi Parambil pushing the DCC secretary aside in frustration.
