Puri, July 8 -- Puri Gajapati Maharaja Dibyasingha Deb, Chairman of the Shree Jagannath Temple Managing Committee (SJTMC), has directed that the release of the animated film Mahaprabhu Jagannath, produced by Bhubaneswar-based M/s Ele Animation Pvt. Ltd., be withheld pending substantial revisions to its content.
The film, scheduled for theatrical release on July 10, was screened on Sunday evening at the auditorium of the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) office in the presence of members of the Jagannath Culture Propagation and Preaching Sub-Committee. The film's producer and directors also attended the special screening.
