Chandigarh, March 20 -- Punjab is poised to become the first state in the country to revolutionize its agricultural sector by integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology.
This landmark announcement was made by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Friday during the inauguration of the two-day 'Kisan Mela' (farmers' fair) and Pashu Mela (livestock fair) at Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) and Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (GADVASU) in Ludhiana.
The event, opened alongside Agriculture Minister Gurmeet Singh Khuddian, aims to promote modern farming techniques and address critical challenges faced by the farming community.
