handigarh, April 10 -- The State Election Commission (SEC) on Friday initiated the process for the revision of electoral rolls ahead of the upcoming general and bye-elections for nine municipal corporations and 104 municipal councils, and nagar panchayats across Punjab.
To facilitate this exercise, the Commission has issued directives to all Deputy Commissioners-cum-District Electoral Officers.
The revision will encompass major municipal corporations, including Barnala, Bathinda, Abohar, Batala, Hoshiarpur, Kapurthala, Moga, Pathankot, and S.A.S. Nagar.
