Chandigarh, May 7 -- : Marking the 107th day of the decisive 'Gangsteran Te War' campaign, the Punjab Police on Thursday executed coordinated raids at 585 identified and mapped locations suspected to be associated with gangster associates across the state.
The massive crackdown, initiated under the directives of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, resulted in the arrest of 323 individuals and the seizure of five weapons. This ongoing offensive, launched by Director General of Police (DGP) Gaurav Yadav on January 20, 2026, aims to make Punjab a gangster-free state through the strategic efforts of the Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) and district police units.
