Chandigarh, June 1 -- Punjab Director General of Police (DGP) Gaurav Yadav on Monday directed all field units across the state to strengthen police presence and intensify patrolling measures, including strategic checkpoints, mobile patrols, and vehicle inspections, to enhance public confidence and maintain a secure law and order environment.
The directions were issued during a state-level virtual review meeting chaired by the DGP with senior police officers, including Special DGPs, Additional DGPs, IGPs, DIGs, Range officers, Commissioners of Police (CPs), and Senior Superintendents of Police (SSPs).
