Chandigarh, May 3 -- In a massive statewide operation under the 'Gangstran Te Vaar' campaign, the Punjab Police on Sunday conducted 644 raids at locations linked to gangster associates, resulting in the arrest of 350 individuals.

This decisive action, carried out on the 103rd day of the initiative launched by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, also led to the recovery of four weapons. The ongoing campaign, spearheaded by Director General of Police (DGP) Gaurav Yadav, has now seen a total of 26,175 arrests since its inception in January 2026.
