Chandigarh, March 26 -- The counter-intelligence wing of Punjab Police said on Thursday it dismantled an interstate illegal weapons supply network, resulting in the arrest of two smugglers from Uttar Pradesh.
During the operation, authorities recovered 10 countrymade pistols and 20 magazines. Preliminary investigations have revealed a sensational transnational link, suggesting the module was being orchestrated by handlers based in the United States and Germany to fuel terror activities and extortion rackets across Punjab.
