Cabinet Ministers are actively visiting flood-hit areas, distributing essential supplies, and ensuring the safety of residents. Meanwhile, union Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has been commended for his hands-on approach.
On Thursday, Chauhan visited flood-ravaged areas in Amritsar and Gurdaspur, inspecting waterlogged fields and engaging with farmers. He assured comprehensive central support, with two central teams assessing the damage to submit a detailed report.
