Chandigarh, Sept. 4 -- Amid the devastating floods in Punjab, the state government, led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, is working tirelessly to provide relief to affected communities. Cabinet Ministers are actively visiting flood-hit areas, distributing essential supplies, and ensuring the safety of residents. Meanwhile, union Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has been commended for his hands-on approach.

On Thursday, Chauhan visited flood-ravaged areas in Amritsar and Gurdaspur, inspecting waterlogged fields and engaging with farmers. He assured comprehensive central support, with two central teams assessing the damage to submit a detailed report.
