Chandigarh, April 5 -- Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) President Amarinder Singh Raja Warring has called for a unified political front in the state to address the proposed delimitation of parliamentary constituencies across the country.
In a statement released on Saturday, Warring urged all political parties in Punjab to reach a consensus and develop a collective strategy to protect the state's interests in the Lok Sabha. The Congress leader's call for action comes amid reports that the union government has convened a special session of Parliament from April 16 to 18, where a bill regarding the delimitation of assembly and parliamentary seats is expected to be introduced alongside amendments to the Women's Reservation Bill.
