Chandigarh, April 2 -- The Punjab and Haryana High Court was placed on high alert on Thursday following a fresh bomb threat received via email, prompting a search operation by the Chandigarh police.
The threat comes on the heels of a recent blast outside the Punjab BJP headquarters, heightening security concerns across the city.
The threatening communication was reportedly received around 12:30 pm, coinciding with the court's scheduled lunch break. This timing meant that the judicial proceedings were largely paused, allowing security forces to mobilize quickly without causing panic.
