Chandigarh, July 1 -- Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Wednesday urged eligible voters across the state to cooperate with the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR)-2026 of the electoral rolls by completing and submitting their enumeration forms, asserting that no genuine voter would be removed from the voters' list during the exercise.
The Chief Minister said the state had already completed nearly 90 per cent of voter mapping since the verification drive began on June 25 and that the remaining work was being carried out on a priority basis. He said Booth Level Officers (BLOs) would continue visiting households until July 24 to verify and update electoral records.
