Sangrur, April 29 -- A security guard at PGI hospital in Sangrur allegedly attempted suicide by consuming a poisonous substance today, accusing the hospital administration of mental harassment and workplace exploitation.
After the incident came to light, local police and senior officials reached the hospital and began investigation.
According to police, the guard was admitted in critical condition after consuming the poisonous substance. He has left behind a suicide note.
