Chandigarh, April 26 -- The Punjab Police's mission to dismantle organized crime networks reached its 96th day today, when the 'Gangstran Te Vaar' campaign, a decisive initiative launched under the directives of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, continued with intensified state-wide action.

Coordinated by the Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) and district police units, the force executed 557 targeted raids across mapped locations linked to gangster associates. These operations resulted in the arrest of 291 individuals and the seizure of five illegal weapons, bringing the total number of arrests since the campaign's inception on January 20, 2026, to 24,280.
