Chandigarh, July 13 -- Local police have filed a case against five people for allegedly thrashing a student following an argument at a club in Sector 7 early on Monday night.
The victim, identified as Dhruv Trehan, is studying Finance in France.
The attack happened outside the venue around 2 AM. Police said the attackers twisted his fingers first, then they hit him with fists and iron bangles. They also threw a table at his head, causing bad injuries and hearing loss in his left ear now.
