Chandigarh, April 26 -- In a significant crackdown on organized crime and illegal weapons trafficking, the Bathinda police have arrested two individuals and recovered a substantial cache of illegal firearms.
SPD Jasmeet Singh Sahiwal, while addressing a press conference today, stated that the operation was conducted by a specialized team from the City Rampura police station under the supervision of the Sub-Divisional Officer. The police successfully seized three .32 bore pistols equipped with six live cartridges, alongside one country-made .315 bore pistol with two live cartridges, effectively preventing a potentially violent crime.
