Pune, May 16 -- In a major anti-narcotics operation, the Pune Rural Police seized mephedrone (MD) powder from the Kusgaon area of Lonavala and arrested two youths in connection with the case. Police recovered contraband and other materials collectively worth rupees 2.80 lakh.
According to police, the joint operation was carried out by the Local Crime Branch (LCB) of Pune Rural Police and the Lonavala Rural Police.
The arrested accused have been identified as Yogesh alias Sunny alias Gogo Duryodhana and Rizwan Ali Nandkund Siddiqui.
