Pune, June 30 -- In a significant step toward inclusive education, cultural capital Pune has launched its first dedicated evening learning centre for transgender and LGBTQIA individuals.
The initiative, started with the support of the Masoom organisation and the Social Welfare Department, aims to help transgender persons who were forced to discontinue their education due to discrimination, financial hardship, and social exclusion. The objective is to create a safe and respectful learning environment where students' identities are accepted and valued.
