Pune, Aug. 23 -- Cartoon characters such as Doraemon, Shinchan and Motu-Patlu have become an integral part of children's lives.
Now, Bonobono, the innocent and endearing character from Japan, is being introduced to Indian children through an innovative initiative in Pune aimed at going beyond entertainment and using a favourite character to impart values such as cleanliness, empathy, friendship, discipline, consideration for others and civic responsibility.
More than 100 parents, children and people associated with India-Japan relations participated in a special family event organised at Bhalerao Tower in Shivajinagar, Pune.
