Pune, May 13 -- Advocate Milind Pawar, appearing on behalf of complainant Vikas Sadashiv Lawande, has moved the Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) Court No. 7 in Pune seeking directions to the police to invoke additional and more stringent charges against the accused Sangram Bhandare and others in the Loni Kalbhor crime case.
The petition filed before the court stated that despite serious allegations involving criminal intimidation, alleged use and display of a firearm, and threats to life, the investigating agency has allegedly failed to apply stringent non-bailable provisions, including Section 109 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and Sections 3 and 25 of the Arms Act.
