Dimapur, June 11 -- The NSCN (IM) has demanded that the Government of India immediately outlaw the Kuki militant groups and their frontal Kuki village volunteers, and formally proscribe them as terrorist organisations following the alleged killing of six Nagas, who were held captive, by them.
In a statement, the NSCN/GPRN unequivocally and in the strongest terms condemned what it called the "barbaric killing" and "grotesque mutilation" of victims by the Kuki groups.
The statement said these heinous atrocities are blatant crimes against humanity and a savage violation of human dignity that has no place in civilised society.
The NSCN said it would leave no stone unturned until those responsible for this savage act are brought to justice.
