Bhubaneswar, May 16 -- Police in Odisha's Kendrapara district on Friday arrested three members of a family, including two women, on charges of murdering a 42-year-old homeopathic doctor following a dispute over landed property.

The deceased was identified as Golakh Chandra Nauri of Baradanga village under Mahakalapada police station limits.

He was allegedly attacked by his elder brother and other family members on Thursday night.

Police arrested Abhaya Chandra Nauri (44), elder brother of the deceased, Abhaya's daughter Kandhei Nauri (23), and daughter-in-law Jasmini Nauri (27) in connection with the murder. Another accused, Jitendra Nauri (30), son of Abhaya, is absconding.
