Dharamshala, Oct. 10 -- Professor Mahesh Kulharia has been elected president of the Himalayan Life Science Society, functioning under the School of Life Sciences at the Shahpur campus of Himachal Pradesh Central University (CUHP).
The election meeting was held at the university's seminar hall on October 7 under the supervision of Professor Pradeep Kumar, Dean Academic Affairs, CUHP, who served as the election observer.
Dr Rakesh Kumar Daroch, Dr Sachin Upmanyu and Professor Praveen Mehta were elected vice-presidents, while Dr Rakesh Kumar Thakur was elected general secretary and Dr Dinesh Lakhanpal treasurer.
