Pune, April 29 -- The Central Railway administration has initiated an inquiry after a coach of the Mumbai-Solapur Vande Bharat Express derailed at Pune railway station. Taking serious note of the incident, a multi-departmental investigation committee has been formed.
Following the mishap, 699 passengers of the affected train were transported to Solapur via the Deccan Queen. The disruption also impacted train schedules, with the Deccan Queen running 1.5 to 2 hours late in both directions on Monday and Tuesday.
