Shimla, Aug. 18 -- Congress General Secretary and MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will visit Government Senior Secondary School, Deori, in Mandi district in September and interact with students, Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said on Tuesday.
Sukhu virtually joined a function organised to mark the commencement of classes in the newly constructed school building, which was built at a cost of Rs 3.62 crore after the earlier structure was completely washed away in heavy rains on August 14, 2023.
The Chief Minister said Priyanka Gandhi wanted to personally visit Deori on the occasion of the inauguration of the new building but could not attend due to bad weather.
