Bengaluru, June 15 -- Karnataka Home Minister Priyank Kharge has challenged the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) to publicly disclose its legal status, finances, assets and tax compliance, asserting that no organisation, however influential, can remain beyond scrutiny in a constitutional democracy.
In a letter to RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, Kharge questioned the legal basis on which the organisation continues to operate on a massive scale without formal registration, despite maintaining thousands of shakhas and organising large public events across the country.
