Bengaluru, Sept. 10 -- Congress leader and Karnataka Minister for Rural Development and Panchayat Raj, Priyank Kharge, is facing legal action after a RSS volunteer served him a legal notice for comments in which he described the organisation as holding "extreme views" and being "anti-Constitution."The notice was issued by Vivek Champanerkar, an RSS volunteer based in Thane, for comments Kharge made nearly two months ago. Champanerkar alleged that the statements were defamatory and baseless.
