Bengaluru, Aug. 31 -- Karnataka Minister Priyank Kharge on Monday sought to turn RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat's overseas remarks on Muslims and India's pluralistic character into a political question for the BJP, asking whether the ruling party had now "become bigger than the RSS".

Taking a swipe at Bhagwat over his visit to the US and Canada, Kharge said the RSS chief appeared to be projecting a different message abroad from the one propagated by sections of the BJP and its ideological affiliates in India.

"Mohan Bhagwat will do anything for funds," Kharge said, referring to the RSS chief's overseas engagements.
