Kolhapur, May 12 -- Following the austerity plea by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Akhil Bharatiya Hindu Mahasabha (ABHM) in a sarcastic reaction, said that Mr Modi should first cancel his foreign tours, his ministers should reduce the number of vehicles in their convoy and then give advice to the people.
In a press statement, which was also handed to the district collector Vijay Rathod, ABHM district president Abhijeet Patil said that PM Modi's statement to buy less gold, reduce the use of edible oil and private cars, and prioritize working from home, has created confusion across the country.
