Patna, June 24 -- Pressure mounted on the Bihar government over the Bharat Bhushan Tiwari encounter case on Wednesday as a massive Mahapanchayat in Bhojpur demanded accountability and Jan Suraaj founder Prashant Kishor called for a probe under the supervision of a sitting judge of the Patna High Court.
A large crowd gathered at Bilauti village in Bhojpur district, raising slogans in support of Bharat Tiwari as well as against the police and Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary. Several speakers questioned the role of the administration and the government in the incident.
