Varanasi, Sept. 6 -- Preparations have intensified for the upcoming visit of Mauritius Prime Minister Navinchandra Ramgoolam to the religious city of Kashi.

Mayor Ashok Kumar Tiwari held a review meeting in the auditorium of Smart City today in view of the arrival of the Prime Minister of Mauritius in Varanasi on September 11.

The Mayor gave directives to remove encroachments on the routes of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple and Kaal Bhairav Temple, better cleanliness system, garbage pickup and catching stray animals. Besides, directives were given to decorate the routes with attractive pots, colorful lights and flowers on the lines of the G-20 conference.
