New Delhi, June 25 -- The weather department has forecast pre-monsoon showers to continue in the national capital for the next week, with no respite in heat.
Delhi is likely to receive very light to light rain accompanied by strong surface winds for the next seven days during the afternoon or evening hours, barring Sunday, according to officials from the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
Despite the forecast for mild showers, the temperatures in Delhi would remain unchanged, keeping the days warm and uneasy.
The maximum temperatures are expected to hover between 39 deg C and 41 deg C for the next three days, dropping mildly by Monday and settling between 37 deg and 39 deg C.
