Beed, Jan. 3 -- Premlata Parve of the Shiv Sena was sworn in on Saturday as the new President of the Beed Municipal Council, following the Mahayuti alliance's victory in the recently concluded civic elections.
The oath-taking ceremony was held at the Municipal Council premises and was attended by newly elected corporators, senior civic officials, party office-bearers, and a large number of supporters and local residents.
Addressing the gathering, Shiv Sena leader Anil Jagatap appealed for collective efforts to resolve civic issues and ensure sustainable development in the city.
