Prayagraj, Feb. 21 -- Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwarananda Saraswati of Jyotish Peth received a major setback on Saturday when Prayagraj's Additional District Judge (POSCO) court ordered registeration of an FIR against him in a sexual abuse case.
ADJ (POCSO Act) Vinod Kumar Chaurasia ordered the registration of an FIR against Swami Avimukteshwarananda Saraswati and his disciple Swami Mukundanand Giri.
The court ordered the police to register an FIR and investigate the matter. Following the court's order, a case will now be registered at the Jhunsi police station in Prayagraj.
