Prayagraj, May 12 -- The special MP-MLA Court of Prayagraj has convicted former Samajwadi Party MLA Vijay Mishra and three others in a 46-year-old murder case on Tuesday.
MP-MLA Court Judge Yogesh Kumar( third) convicted Vijay Mishra along with Jeet Narayan, Santram, and Balram.
The case is related to murder of a 35-year-old Prakash Narayan Pandey in the court premises on February 11, 1980.
Prakash Narayan Pandey had come to the district court to seek bail in the case filed against him. Pandey had a feud with Santram and Balram. It is alleged that Santram, Balram, Vijay Mishra, and Jeet Narayan shot and killed Prakash Narayan Pandey.
Five other people were also injured in the firing.
