Mysuru, Sept. 20 -- Former Mysuru MP and BJP leader Pratap Simha has found himself on the wrong side of the law, with T Narasipura police registering an FIR against him and others over an alleged provocative speech during a Ganeshotsava procession.
The case stems from the Ganesh Shobhayatra held in T Narasipura on September 18, which had already triggered a controversy over remarks attributed to local police inspector Dhananjay regarding the procession route near a mosque.
Simha, who took part in the procession, had publicly questioned the police officer's remarks and criticised the manner in which the procession was being handled.
