Samastipur, Feb. 25 -- Jan Suraaj founder Prashant Kishor Wednesday demanded that the Bihar government immediately repeal the liquor prohibition law, and stated that it is neither benefiting society nor serving the interests of the state.
Kishor told newspersons here that if the liquor ban had truly benefited the people of Bihar, then the Modi-led central government should implement prohibition across the entire country. In a sarcastic remark, he added that liquor is being sold openly in various areas despite the ban, indicating that the law has completely failed in the state.
