Bhubaneswar, March 27 -- union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has praised the Government of India's decision to reduce the central excise duty on petrol and diesel by Rs. 10 per litre, calling it a "timely and courageous" step that will greatly benefit ordinary consumers and businesses across the country.
In a statement, Pradhan highlighted that in the face of rising geopolitical tensions in West Asia and the volatility of global energy markets, the government's actions have been widely appreciated.
