Agartala, April 23 -- Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha has raised concerns over what he described as a deliberate attempt to stir communal unrest in the state, following the electoral success of Tipra Motha, an ally of the BJP-led government.

After surveying violence-hit regions in Khowai, Sepahijala, and South Tripura districts, the Chief Minister convened a high-level meeting last Wednesday night with senior police and administrative officials to evaluate the situation and reinforce measures to uphold law and order.
