Pooja Pal attacks Akhilesh Yadav, says he's only concerned about Yadavs and Muslims, not non-Yadav backward classes and women

Lucknow, July 18 -- Pooja Pal, a rebel Samajwadi Party (SP) MLA who recently joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), has launched a scathing political attack on SP President Akhilesh Yadav.

She alleged that Akhilesh Yadav has no concern for non-Yadav backward classes and women, and that his politics is limited only to the Yadav and Muslim communities.

In a statement posted on social media on Saturday, Pooja Pal questioned Akhilesh Yadav's right to speak for backward classes and women. She said she belongs to the Pal community, is a woman, and has also served as a Samajwadi Party MLA.
