Puducherry, April 9 -- In a major faux pas, officials at a polling booth failed to apply the indelible ink on the finger of Puducherry Lt.Governor K Kailasanathan's wife Beena after she had cast her vote in the Assembly elections on Thursday before rectifying it when she was about to leave the booth.
The Lt.Governor and along with his mother Leena and wife Beena exercised their democratic right at the tthe DMS office polling booth where the incident took place.
After exercising their franchise, the Lt.Governor and his wife lifted their fingers and posed for a photo when it was noticed that there was no ink mark on her finger.
