Kolkata, March 6 -- A couple of days before the visit of the full bench of the Election Commission of India, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is set to sit on a demonstration in central Kolkata, targeting the poll body over the issue of nearly 60 lakh names in the state's voter list that remain under consideration.

The political mobilisation unfolding across party lines in the state has set the stage for a heated run-up to the forthcoming Assembly elections.

The full bench of the Election Commission is scheduled to arrive in Kolkata on Sunday night for a two-day visit to review election preparedness in the state.
