Ch. Sambhajinagar, Jan. 20 -- Political tensions flared within the Mahyuti alliance in Ch. Sambhajinagar on Tuesday following a key meeting held to finalise strategy for the upcoming Zilla Parishad and Panchayat Samiti elections, with Bharatiya Janata Party workers openly protesting the renewed alliance with the Shiv Sena.
The meeting, held at a hotel in Ch. Sambhajinagar,, was convened in the backdrop of the recently concluded municipal corporation elections. Soon after leaders announced the alliance between the BJP and the Shiv Sena, BJP workers from the Vaijapur area expressed strong resentment, demanding that the tie-up be withdrawn.
