Prithviraj SinghDehradun, Oct. 21 -- Uttarakhand police have failed to trace the whereabouts of Cabinet Minister Rekha Arya's husband Girdhari Lal Sahu amidst suspicion that the accused, booked for threatening to kill the minister and unleashing violence against her, has escaped to Nepal.
Uttarakhand police registered an FIR against Sahu following a complaint by the minister on October 15.
Tight-lipped senior police officials in Dehradun have informed that although it is yet to be confirmed but Girdhari Lal Sahu has possibly sneaked into the neighboring country Nepal through the border areas aligning with Champawat and US Nagar districts in Kumaon.
