Thrissur, April 5 -- Police have registered a case in connection with the alleged distribution of free Vishu kits to voters in Thrissur, amid accusations that the initiative was aimed at influencing voters ahead of the Kerala Assembly elections.
The case was filed by the Thrissur West Police based on a report submitted by the Election Executive Magistrate, following complaints regarding the distribution of kits in the Sivaramapuram Unnathi area at Olari.
