Chandigarh, Nov. 11 -- Following the recovery of nearly 2,900 kg of explosives, Faridabad police on Monday conducted raids at Al-Falah University and several mosques in Fatehpur Taga village.

A heavy security cordon was placed around the university as teams carried out searches both inside and outside the campus.

Officials confirmed that a team from Chandigarh also joined the operation, inspecting the university for nearly an hour before moving toward Fatehpur Taga village for further investigation. The raids were part of an ongoing probe into an alleged terror module suspected of operating from the region.
