Srinagar, April 13 -- Continuing its intensified drive against drug trafficking, Police in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday attached a double-storey residential building worth Rs 32.19 lakh.

Police said the property belongs to a convicted narcotics offender, Abdul Hamid Bhat alias Hamid Puj, a resident of Lalhar Kakapora. The action was taken in connection with FIR No. 42/2018 under Section 8/22 of the NDPS Act.

Police said the accused has already been sentenced to 10 years of rigorous imprisonment along with a fine of Rs 1 lakh by the Court of Principal District and Sessions Judge Pulwama.
