Chandigarh, Aug. 26 -- Acting on a tip-off, Punjab Police's Counter-Intelligence (CI) unit in Pathankot thwarted a planned murder by arresting four members of an organized criminal gang, including two minors. The operation, conducted under the directives of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann to ensure a safer Punjab, led to the recovery of two .30-bore Star pistols and six live cartridges, Director General of Police (DGP) Gaurav Yadav announced today.
